Terms and Conditions – House Clearance JKRS

These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by House Clearance JKRS (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking our services, you (“the customer”, “you”) agree to the terms outlined below. Please read them carefully before engaging our services.

1. Services Provided

• We offer house, garage, loft, office, garden, and property clearance services across Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire, and Greater Manchester.

• All clearances will be carried out as agreed at the time of booking.

• We reserve the right to decline any job that involves hazardous, illegal, or unsafe materials.

2. Quotes and Payment

• All quotes are provided free of charge and are based on the information you supply.

• Additional charges may apply if the scope of work changes or additional items are identified during clearance.

• Payment must be made in full upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• We accept [insert payment methods e.g., cash, bank transfer, card payments].

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours before the booking.

• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.

• If we are unable to complete the job due to factors outside our control (e.g., restricted access, unsafe conditions), we reserve the right to charge for any costs incurred.

4. Customer Responsibilities

• Ensure we have clear and safe access to the property at the agreed time.

• Inform us in advance of any hazardous materials, restricted access, or special requirements.

• Remove or secure any personal belongings you wish to keep, as we cannot accept responsibility once clearance begins.

5. Disposal of Items

• We are a licensed waste carrier and dispose of items in compliance with UK environmental regulations.

• Wherever possible, items will be recycled, reused, or donated.

• Once removed, items become the property of House Clearance JKRS, unless otherwise agreed.

6. Liability

• While we take great care, we cannot be held liable for accidental damage caused by items being moved in restricted spaces.

• We do not accept responsibility for any loss of personal items not removed prior to clearance.

• Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

7. Insurance

• We are fully insured for public liability and waste removal activities.

• Evidence of our insurance can be provided upon request.

8. Complaints

• If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us within 7 days of the clearance.

• We will investigate promptly and aim to resolve any issues fairly.

9. Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

• Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
